Ramu (Kalyan Ram) is very fond of his maradalu Lakshmi (Kaajal). Ramu is an uneducated guy who works in farms. Lakshmi's father is a wealthy guy and is the president of the village. their village has feuds with a neighboring village. Giri (Ajay) is from the other village and he wants to marry Lakshmi. but Lakshmi and Ramu are in love. Ramu has to win a race over giri to marry Lakshmi. The rest of the story is all about the hurdles Ramu faces in order to wed Lakshmi.

Humiliated, she is left on the streets, rescued by kind-hearted bandit, Shankara, who recruits her and she swears to avenge her humiliation by killing her molesters. She unleashes a wave of terror attacks, prompting the government to assign Inspector Ramesh Kumar to arrest her at any and all costs. Shankar lives a poor lifestyle along with blind sister, Paro. He works as a locksmith. He gets involved with thugs who ask him to break into a safe, but after doing so attack and leave him in the middle of the road. Jagganath, a truck driver, assists him and gets him safely home. Chamanlal, a Director at Metro Bank, and his henchmen, Georgy Dada and Bachchan Singh hire Ranjeet to break into the bank, steal cash and jewelry. After successfully carrying out this heist, they stop at Jaganath's house, sexually molest his sister, Munni, who subsequently kills herself, and then abscond. A visibly upset Jaganath, who was all set to get Munni married to Shankar Verma, sets out for vengeance but unknowingly befriends Paro and treats her as a sister. It is only later that he realizes that she is Ranjeet's sister and Ranjeet was one of Munni's molesters.

After Shankar robs a teacher, it leads to the death of his son and lands him in jail. Eventually Shankar returns to seek his forgiveness and learns about Jai Singh, a local terror. He vows to end his reign.

Ganga, a bright village girl, is saved by Shankar in an act that leaves him crippled. She agrees to marry wealthy Ranjit but is accused of infidelity on their wedding day. Shankar exposes the truth, and Ganga marries him instead, only to face hostility from his family and a vengeful Ranjit.
